There’s been a lot going on lately—I’m currently catching up with friends and family in Japan and Europe—leaving little opportunity to write about the various things I’ve been working on. One such project is the Little Luggable, my take on a cyberdeck, which I recently took some time to try to document more fully.

Hoping to make it easier for others to make their own version of the Little Luggable (and to improve my personal documentation), I’ve now published a small website for the project—it was a great chance to work with Mar Mizunaka, a local photographer, who did a wonderful job of capturing the device.

I’m still figuring out how I want to present my hardware projects and I had a lot of fun with this one, playing around with custom fonts and <model-viewer> to try to bring some of the Little Luggable’s personality to the web. I’m particularly proud of the 3D model, which is exported directly from Fusion and matches exactly the parts used for manufacture.
