This really is the only country I know of where testing the fire alarm involves a polite announcement followed by strange wind-chimes-esq. music playing through speakers mounted in the ceiling.

Bizarre.

Update: It appears that after about 10 minutes, wind-chimes can drive you slowly mad. Please! No more!
