… and on dialup sigh!.

You know, its amazing how much of a difference your connection type changes the way you use the internet. With the exception of instant messaging applications, the internet doesnt feel too far different from a glorified encyclopedia (apologies for spelling!). It suprised me when I first got to uni to discover that it was capeable of so much more… On a fast network connection, the internet provides a communication channel much more than it does on a dialup connection.

Anyhow, I could go on and on about this one… however I shall not. I guess its just the usual disappointment of finding that all you have is a book when you used to have a full media centre. (No offence meant to anyone out there who teaches english!)
