Having promised myself I would try skydiving at least once in my life, it seemed about time. My friend Allie—who’s done many solo jumps—slummed it for the day and joined me with the other first-timers doing tandem jumps. We departed from, of all places, Yolo County Airport, which has a drop zone right next to a shooting range. 🇺🇸
